Sierra Preta celebrates a successful first season of their Community BioChar Project in Andalucia and thanks all participants.

The burning season has ended in Andalucia, and we look back on a successful first season.

Thank you to all participants! Everyone who participated at the workshops, who used the kiln on their land and those who expressed interest.

We were thrilled to see so much excitement in our Community BioChar Project. With this, we are eager to begin planning for the next season.

What's the Plan?

We begin by reaching out to our community, spreading the word, and determining the best methods for producing BioChar and managing organic waste.

Our goal is to make the process as helpful, productive, and beneficial as possible for both our community and for our environment.

Little Overview About the Next Steps:

1. Community Engagement: Strengthening our network and encouraging more local involvement.
2. Kiln Expansion: Increasing the number of kilns available for use.
3. Educational Workshops: Hosting more workshops to teach about BioChar production and its benefits.
4. Research and Development: Improving our techniques and methods for greater efficiency and impact.
5. Environmental Impact: Continuing our efforts to regenerate ecosystems and combat desertification.

Thank you to all of our previous supporters! Without your support, we would not have come so far in achieving our vision!

Sierra Preta aims to fill the soil of the Sierra Nevada with BioChar to regenerate ecosystems and stop desertification!

Please donate, share, get involved, and tell others about our project!
